The Art of Failing
Failing sucks. Let’s be honest.
Yet is an inevitable part of life. You literally cannot avoid it.
So, how do you deal with failure? What is your relationship to it?
But most importantly, how can you best manage it?
My tip? Learn how to dance.
Why?
Learning how to dance is a long journey that is literally made of constant failure and success. Every day, every session, every movement.
You only become a master in anything if you go through failures and successes.
But what does being a master even mean? You really are a master in anything not when you stop failing, rather when you learn how to best deal with inevitable failures.
In life we go through a lot of failures, and there is something incredibly valuable about learning how to fail.
Do you just fail and fall, or do you learn from it and go on?
Do you crash or do you style it out?
Do you blame others or yourself?
Do you remain stuck within the failure or do you take the lessons that you can learn from it and move on?
Furthermore, if you allow yourself to fail, learn from it and move on, you might have a great revelation in the process. In the history of humankind, failure definitely brought unexpected successes.
Whether you are working independently or within a team, and you want to optimize the failure process, learn how to dance and apply the same concepts to your life.
Every aspect of your life can really benefit from learning how to manage failure.
